Artificial insemination is one of the important assisted reproductive techniques used in many animal species in order to transfer processed semen into the female genital tract appropriately. The demand for artificial insemination in dogs is increasing all over the world, especially after the establishment of frozen sperm banks. However, inadequacies of several methods to transfer the frozen sperms to the uterus in artificial insemination lead to decreae in fertility rates, resulting in an increased number of studies in this field to develop more efficient methods. The method of endoscopic transcervical insemination with the use of frozen semen to perform artificial insemination in dogs has gained significant importance in recent years. Despite the requirements to afford a certain cost and equipment, this method has important advantages as it can be applied in a short time easily without requiring any anesthesia and surgical procedures, providing high fertility rates. Therefore, extending the use of this technique especially in animal hospitals and pet clinics in the near future may significantly contribute to providing dog owners' artificial insemination demands throughout our country.
