In this study, it was aimed to investigate the prevalance and potential causes of foot diseases in sheep and goats in small ruminant farms in Elazığ region. Foot lesions were found in 293 (6.85%) of 4276 sheep and goats of different ages and weights. Non-infectious nail deformation was detected in 227 (77.47%) of 293 animals with foot disease. Foot lesions were found in 126 (6.57%) of 1917 animals examined in the pre-pasture period and in 167 (7.08%) of 2359 animals examined in the post-pasture period. As a result; it is thought that informing the breeders about the physical structures of the barns, the hygiene of the barns, feeding and hoof care will make significant contributions to the livestock industry of the region.
