This exercise had been made in Alparslan Agricultural Corporation. In this study 38 crossbreed calves had been used to observe for growing up in weaning and also 23 male calves for fattening performance.

The crossbreed calves had been average measured 39.18 kg of weight when they had just been born. At the finish of weaning crossbreed calves had got 83.87 kg living weight in generally, and during this time they had got 0.533 kg daily increase. The difference between sexuality groups weren’t important in statistical meaning (p>0.05).

The crossbreed male calves had been set to fatten when they were 149.17 kg and 6 months of old. And their last weight at the end of this term was 509.45 kg average. During all the term (360 days) the average increase of living weight had been measured as 1.010 kg.

The average slaughter weight of crossbreed bulls had been measured as 551.48 kg, the average hot carcass weight was 314.52 kg too. The final of these data’s had measured the dressing percentage as % 56.98. Moreover the ratio of head, skin, four legs, set and spleen from specialty of slaughter had been measured as % 3.18, 8.57, 1.77, 2.70 and 0.16 in order.

As a result, we have come to a conclusion that the Limousine x Brown Swiss crossbreeds weren’t much better than pure Brown Swiss breeds.
