The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of levamisole on the pregnancy rate, avarage litter size, sexuality, survival rate and lactation period in rats. Thirty-two, 3 months old female rats were used. The animals divided into 4 groups by randomly. Levamisole hydrochlorure (Levaject %10 Pro injection, Vetifarm) was injected to the first group (n=8) one times, second group (n=8) two times and third group (n=8) three times with intervals of a week by intramuscular at 3.5 mg/kg doses. Fourth group (n=8) was used as a control group. In conclusion, the third group was found having the least survival rate and highest pregnancy rate. A difference wasn’t determined in avarage litter size at birth, sexuality and lactation period among groups.
