The Seasonal Changes and Freqency of Children Patiens Who Were Hospitalized in Clinic of Dermatology

This study was done for evaluating of dermatolojic problems frequency and seasonal property of the children patients who were treated in dermatology clinic.

A total of 137 children patients under 17 years old who were treated in dermatology clinic over 3 years periods were evaluated retrospectively. In this study; the characteristic clinic of the patients, laboratory routine were done during the hospitalization, diagnoses, treatment, and seasonal property of diseases were evaluated. Dermatological diagnoses were divided into 12 groups.

60 (%43.8) of the patients were female and 77 (%56.2) were male. 137 children whose ages were between 0-16 years old were evaluated. Mean age was 7.994.83. The most freqent problem was determined as infectious diseases (65 patients) %47.44. The second frequent disease was urticaria and angioedema (14 patients) %10.2.

The most important reasons of the children's who treated in our dermatology clinic were determined as infectious diseases and urticaria and angioedema. Significant association were found between the diseases, seasons and mean age.
