Computerized Cranial Tomography (CCT) is the most common radiologic diagnostic method performed after history taking and physical examination by patients accepted to the emergency department due to acute headache. It is common that foreign bodies are seen by CCT incidentally. In our case contrast agent persisting since conventional myelography performed years ago was mimicking foreign body.
The purpose of reporting this case report is to emphasize the importance of detection of the artefacts which mostly occur because of conventional myelography performed years ago and may lead to errors or difficulty in diagnosis. |
