Ingestion of foreign bodies (FB) is a common problem in children, but ingestion of magnetic objects is rare. Most objects pass through the gastrointestinal tract with minimal complications, but when more than one magnetic object is swallowed, they can pull each other through the intestinal walls causing pressure necrosis, perforation, fistula formation, volvulus, or intestinal obstruction.
