Disability is defined as the condition of losing mental, physical, spiritual, emotional or social abilities to a certain extent due to congenital or acquired causes, having difficulty in adapting to social life and meeting daily needs. The inability of disabled people to be included in the society both adversely affects disabled people in every sense and prevents the progress of the society. In addition, it is also the responsibility of society to provide the necessary environments for disabled individuals to be included in society and to support them. In order to realise this, various legal arrangements have been made in the world and in our country in order to determine and secure the rights of disabled individuals. In this study, the rights, social aids, facilities provided to disabled individuals in the fields of work, education, health and the evaluation of disabled individuals in terms of forensic medicine are discussed.
