Frequency of bovine herpesvirus 1 (BHV-1) infections in cows with repeat breeding was studied by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results indicated that 85 (70.8%) of 120 cows with repeat breeding were seropositive for BHV-1 where as 35 (29.1%) were found to be seronegative. In control group without repeat breeding, 59 (73.7%) of 85 cows were found to be seropositive whereas 21 (26.2%) were seronegative. These results revealed that there was no significant relation (P>0.05) between seropositivity of BHV-1 and repeat breeding.
