Ocular toxoplasmosis is believed to be the most common infectious disease to involving the retina. The disease is caused by the intracellular protozoan Toxoplasmosis gondii (T.gondii), which is neurotrophilic and attacks the retina as well as other central nervous system tissues. The vast majority of cases of toxoplasmic uveitis in adults and children are recurrences of a congenital infection. We discussed the clinical presentations and therapy of the ocular toxoplasmosis in this paper.
