Majority of liposarcomas (LS) are generally located in extremities and retroperitoneal area, and in the literature only one case of liposarcoma located in the choledochus was reported. Liposarcomas should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of tumors located in the choledochus.

A 73-year-old male patient who presented at our center complaining of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and jaundice was determined a tumor originating from the choledochus and extending stomach. An extensive tumor involvement was observed during the operation. Tissue samples were diagnosed as liposarcoma.

A case of liposarcoma located in the choledochus was presented due to its rarity and discussed in the light of literature data.
