The purpose of this study was to evaluate of the factors affecting to the performance in first and second wheelchair basketball league players. A public survey evaluating (1) the factors of technique, tactics and characteristics of motor, (2) the characteristics of psychological (inside) and the characteristics of psychological (outside) is developed, after validity and reliability were tested. Then, it was applied to the players of first league (3 teams) and the players of second league (3 teams) in the season of 2006. Descriptive analysis and independent sample t test were used for statistical evaluation at significance level of p<0.05 and p<0.01.

There were no significant effects on psychological (inside) and psychological (outside) factors on playing in the first and second wheelchair basketball leagues. However, there was a significant difference (p<0.05) between the factors of technique, tactics and characteristics of motor (i.e. endurance, tactics, and coordination) in the players of first and second wheelchair basketball leagues.
