Keywords: Movement training, physical fitness, children

In this study, it was aimed that to examine the effects of 16 weeks’ movement training, applied to 10-12 ages children on their physical fitness parameters.

In this study, 80 children served as experiment and 122 childeren served as control group aged between 10-12 were included.

To search the influence of education of body, all measurements and tests of height, weight, grasp and power of the necks, perpendicular jumping, maximum anaerobic strenght, VO2 , elasticity, body composition, and sprint have been done appropriately. The data base of the search was interpreted by the help of SPSS. In this paper, for distinguishing control and experiment groups independent t and to find out the differences in preliminary and last tests between both control and experiment groups paired t was used.

Although there was obtained a significant difference at handgrip strenght (p <0,01), between pre-tests of experiment and control group, there was no significant difference in other variables. It was found that, there was significant differences at leg strenght (p<0,01), and also VO2max., vertical jump, anaerobic power, body mass index (BMI) and body fat percentage (BFP) (p <0,05) between experiment and control groups’ post-test results. Between experiment and control groups’ pre and post-test results, it was also obtained that there was a significant differences at anaerobic power (p <0,05), VO2max., vertical jump, max. handgrip strenght, flexibility, body fat percentage, body mass index (p <0,01).

In conclusion, It is seemed that movement training that applied regular and longer time can develop physical fitness of 10-12 aged children.
