Evaluation of Prick Test Results Which Were Made On Allergic Asthma, Allergic Rhinitis, Allergic Conjunctivitis, Chronic Urticaria And Atopic Dermatitis in Elazig District

The aim of this study is to evaluate the prick test results of the patients with allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic urticaria and atopic dermatitis who attended to the Firat University faculty of Medicine department of Dermatology policlinic between 2005 and 2006

116 patients whom were taken the diagnosis of allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic urticaria and atopic dermatitis were performed to this study. The prick test were practiced to the patients with 26 allergens that included house dust mites, the epithelium of the animals, grass, yeast and fungal allergens, tree pollens and foods.

The ages of the patients who were performed to the study were between 5-66, and medium age was 25.56± 13.82. 49 of the patients were men and 67 of them were women. Male/ female ratio was 0.73. Pozitive to the used allergens were determined in 34 (%29.31) of 116 patients.

When the results were evoluated; the most common three allergens were respectively house dust mites %18.1, grass pollens %13.8 and mixt mildew %8.6.
